Production of Cs cells for the n2EDM experiment

Achieving the goal sensitivity of the n2EDM experiment requires precise control of magnetic field measurement.

To measure the magnetic-field distribution and correct possible systematic shifts, we will use an array of 112 optically-pumped Caesium magnetometers based on the anti-spin-relaxation-coated. Therefore, our group is establishing production of glass cells containing the Caesium vapour, which is a core component of the magnetometer.
