The nEDM collaboration at PSI reports constraints on axion properties

The collaboration reports on a search for ultralow-mass axionlike dark matter by analyzing the ratio of the spin-precession frequencies of stored ultracold neutrons and 199Hg atoms for an axion-induced oscillating electric dipole moment of the neutron and an axion-wind spin-precession effect.
Ed Hinds at the Zurich Physics Colloquium

Ed Hinds was invited to the Zurich Physics Colloquium. He talked about how he uses YbF molecules to search for the electric dipole moment of the electron, which is a way to search for new CP-violating physics beyond the standard model.
Portait about Michal Rawliks contribution to the n2EDM experiment

Our doctoral student Michal Rawlik works on the active field compensation for the n2EDM experiment. Now an article about his work has been published on naturalscience.ch.
